St Mary's and St John Bosco Parish Pastoral Council

Our Parish Pastoral Council at St Marys and St John Bosco supports and advises the Parish Priest in serving the needs of our Parishioners and the local community. It has a special responsibility for promoting lay involvement and leadership in the spiritual renewal and community life of our Parish.

Meetings are held every two months and the Council members include our Parish Priest as President, our Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson, Secretary,Treasurer an up to twenty other appointed members who reflect the diversity of the Parish and are actively involved in our Parish community.

The aim of St Mary's and St John Bosco Parish Pastoral Council is to offer support and encouragement to our Parishioners, our Parish Groups and Parish Ministries and to further the work of the Church by promoting the Parish vision of pastoral care, faith formation, education and spiritual growth.

This is achieved by discussion and planning on pastoral, administrative and spiritual matters with the purpose of supporting and leading Parishioners to respond actively to their baptismal call and to share in the mission of the Church.
